I realized last night that this morning we would have everyone home for the last time until Christmas break, so I decided it would be great to have brunch all together. Which really meant a lot of work for Tim, and he was totally up for the task! He got up and started cooking bacon and then ran to the store to get some other things like fruit and yogurt and orange juice, and then came home and made eggs for everyone. He assigned me the job of making toast, which I happily did because it made me feel like I contributed something, and then we all sat down for a lovely breakfast! As a great bonus, my sister stopped by on her way home from her daughter's house in Orlando, so we had quite the family gathering. Nicholas was the only one who missed out as he slept through the whole affair - so sad! But what a huge blessing to have everyone, including our 2nd daughter, Anna (Nicole's friend who is living with us until she gets married next month) and my sister! Then the great exodus happened - Nicole went to work, Anna went to her future in-laws, Tim took Noah back to college, and then Nathan left for church and then back to college. As my mom used to say, all good things much come to an end, but I continue to be super grateful for the time together!
