I woke up still feeling pretty bad - still having blood in my urine. But I went ahead and got a shower - thank GOD for the shower chair! I was debating about changing my whole urostomy bag and phlange, but the phlange is still holding nice and tight so I decided to just change the bag. I can't believe I lasted this long with that blasted Hollister bag I don't like. I got out a new ConvaTec bag and was so happy to throw away that disgusting Hollister bag. Another thing I didn't like about it is when I woke up in the morning after being hooked up to the larger night bag all night, the Hollister bag was shriveled up like a prune - all the air was sucked out of it. I don't think that was all that great for my stoma to be plastered to the side of the bag like that. maybe that's also why I was having blood in my urine - maybe it was pushing on the stents or something. Anyway, I was so happy to be back with a ConvaTec bag! Yay! I got dressed and did my hair, watched our church service online, and then Tim and I went to a meeting at church. Once again, I was thinking it would be about an hour but it was closer to 2pm. I came home and took a nap and just rested for most of the rest of the day. Tim and I did take a walk around dusk, but it was slow going and painful. Ugh! I sat out in our fireplace room with my feet up and wrote thank you notes while Tim watched football. My oldest came home from college for the night - since he is an RA he has to go back for some meetings over the next 2 days but will be back for the Christmas break Tuesday night. The people who were going to bring us dinner tonight gave us $100 in cash to order whatever we wanted, so I got on Ruby Tuesday's website and we all picked something we wanted for dinner and were able to get something for everyone for less than $80. So I still have $20 to order pizza one night! We were both pretty tired by 10pm so we went to bed.
