Hey, everyone! I'm back on here and posting, after, like, a month! ☺ I have been reading the comments on my parents' blog, and I want to thank everyone for letting us know that you're following us on our amazing experience.
There's a few small things that have happened during the last few weeks which I would like to post, but I can only think of one right now: One evening a few days ago, my family was sitting on the couch saying prayers, and Nicholas was finishing up his prayer. He usually ends by asking God to bless several families that we know who need prayer. Well, on this particular night he started listing off just about every family that we know. ☺ After he had rattled off about twenty families or more, he finally exclaimed, "Man, we know a lot of people!"
About five months ago I told my family that the fact of all of us living in an RV for a whole entire year would probably sink in more as we got closer to actually leaving. Well, it has definitely sunk deep in my brain. I am going to miss my friends a lot. Yeah, I can email them, instant message, talk on the phone, and see them at Christmas. But it's not the same! I can't jump in the pool with her on the computer, and I can't sit on her bed and pet her dogs over the phone. I'm going to miss everyone here! Kendyl, if you're reading this, I'm going to miss you so much! After we walked around the neighborhood together about ten times (or something) talking, I realized how much I've missed and am going to miss you!
I'm also realizing how tight it's going to be in our RV. I won't go into details, but just trust me on this one: it's going to be cramped. This whole trip is going to be hard. We're going to have to really trust God to provide for us and lead us through everything.
Well, sorry for dumping my sorrows on y'all. ☺ I'm going to go eat lunch now - I'm hungry! God bless you all!!
