Cash Cab and Thought from God

Hello, everyone!  We are in....(drumroll, please)....Comfort Suites!!!  We're watching Cash Cab on the TV here - have you ever watched it before?  It's pretty cool.  These three people just doubled their $400 dollars for a total of $800.  They're happy, and so am I!!  We just came from the indoor pool, but only Noah and Nathan went in.  I sat on the side with Nicholas and Mom while Dad...uh...I don't know exactly where Dad was or what he was doing.  :)  Anyway, we four kids are in our room (we got two rooms, one for the kids and one for our parents), I sprawled out on one bed, the three boys crowded onto the other.  I guess I scared them or something.... oops.  Oh, well.

I meant to mention this earlier, but I forgot.  A few days ago, I was really, really hungry, dinner was ready, but we were waiting on Dad and Nicholas to get back from wherever they were (I forget).  I asked Mom why we didn't go ahead and eat, and she said she wasn't going to try to work with the messy kitchen counter right then, and we would just wait until they got back.  So, mainly because I was SO hungry, I started to clean up the counter.  As I was doing it, I had this rare moment of enlightenment, obviously from God, in which I thought, "Hey, this is how God wants us to obey Him.  I mean, He wants us to be hungry - really, really, hungry - for Him, and to work to clean up our act and start obeying Him, no matter what happens, no matter what He says, no matter how hard it is."

Well, I'm sorry if this blog didn't make very much sense in some places...I'm trying to blog and watch the TV at the same time, and it's not working out so well.  God bless!!

its so neat how God can put little things like you being hungry and cleaning off the counter in a different perspective. I bet it is nice to have a different bed momentarily. Hope you are enjoying your time so far. I enjoy going to the blog site each or every other day and see what new is happening. Keep up the blogging please. It makes us feel like we are right there with you. This will also help you for later down the road when you need to write. Take care!
Jackie

Nicole, You are always understandable. You are a very perseptive and I suspect very intelectual.

Sometime in our fast paced world we loose sight of the fact that when we talk to God we must also take time to LISTEN to Him. He is also giving us guidence and direction, but it requires us to listen.

Keep blogging; unlike your brothers, you are a treasure.

I read that back and I didn't mean your brothers are not treasures, just not bloggers

    A Lot about Me,
    Nicole Gregory:

I am your untypical 13-year-old girl (well, I like to think of myself that way). :)  I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, and I try my best to obey my awesome God.  I like writing and enjoy reading even more. My favorite Christian author is Nancy Rue.  My two favorite colors are teal and fuchsia.  I love animals, especially dolphins, dogs, cats, and horses.  My favorite Christian radio stations are JoyFM and K-Love, and some of my favorite  Christian singers and bands are Francesca Battistelli, Britt Nicole, Chris Tomlin, Matthew West, J.J.Heller, Mandisa, MercyMe, Casting Crowns, Sidewalk Prophets...the list goes on and on and on.  I am home-schooled and I love it!  I lovespending time with the wonderful friends God has blessed me with!  I love my family who I always thank God for.  :)  By the way, I am a TRIPLET, with three brothers, Nathan, Noah, and the youngest by a year and a half, Nicholas.  God has blessed me abundantly, and I can't wait to see what He has in store! God bless!!

Awesome pic I took of Nicholas at the beach!
