Wow - I haven't posted in SO long! Sorry, y'all. And, actually, right now, I'm just going to post a tidbit of one of my comments on the blog of my friend and favorite author, Mrs. Nancy Rue. (You can go to her blog for teen girls HERE.) Here we go:
I've been learning a lot about God's Will. It's weird. :) I mean, God's Plan is often so impossibly, amazingly, shockingly weird. I usually can't understand the whole thing until after it happens, and I look back and say, "Ohhhh!! That's what He was doing! Now I get it - 'cause I totally didn't before." I'm so messed up by sin and by my human nature and desires, I just can't comprehend the incredible wonders He has planned in my life. But He promises that He does, in fact, have a plan, even when it looks like everything is completely out of control, even out of His control - He still has it, and us, in His hands. He promises in the Bible:
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
I know you've all probably heard that before - but think about it!! God knows what He's doing. Always. He loves us SOOOO greatly; we can't understand it. He says that when we call out to Him, when we come to Him, when we pray to Him, He WILL listen to us!!! He ALWAYS listens! He promises us. Even when I don't FEEL like He's listening, He is. And, when we seek Him with ALL our heart (hello!), we WILL find Him. I WILL feel like He's listening - because He totally is!! :)
I'll be praying for all of you few people who read my blog - and remember, God is holding You in His hands, all of you - your loving (and lazy) actions, encouraging (and spiteful) words, hopeful (and crushed) dreams, wise (and regretful) decisions, proud (and embarrassing) memories, joyful (and hateful) prayers, compassionate (and judging) thoughts, trusting(and doubtful) moments, faithful (and disloyal) times, your past, present, and future - everything!!! Don't let go. He won't. Don't stop loving, because He will love You forever.
