Yesterday and Today (Exciting title, huh? I made it up myself. It took, like, a whole second to think about it, and then a whole two or three seconds to type. I put a lot of work into that title, can't you tell?)

Hello, everyone!!!  I hope you read my mom's blog about the Ethiopian resteraunt.  The picture on the bottom on her post is of the two newest members of their family - one just born, another just adopted - I'll call him Jake.

Anyway, the Ethiopian resteraunt was a lot of fun!!!  And guess what?  Between the kids of our family and the kids of their family, we made a total of five spills of water - all under three or four hours!!  Yeah, we were there for a while. :)  It was fun to eat with our hands, and we ended up sharing food off of different peoples' plates that we had ordered so we could all try everything.  Each and every plate got passed around the table at least once. :)  We had this pancakish-spongey bread called injera.  Jake told us that is was pronounced 'in-year-a', or close to that. :) It was really good - we dipped in some stuff that was a lot like hummus, along with string beans (I think that's what it was...).  The bread was a lot like silverware - you used it to pick up the string beans and then dip that in the hummus-like-dip, and you also used it to pick up some of the messy meats.  Other cubes of meat, like lamb, you could just use your fingers.  It was a great experience, and because we all shared the food, it really felt like we were all a family.  It was cool.

This morning we went to the church which our friends go to - we went there about four years ago, and we got a picture in the exact same spot and the exact same pose as last time, us kids, I mean.  It was a different chair, but in the same corner.   Nathan and one of the boys squeezed into it (again) and I smiled for the camera from the back (again).  It was pretty funny.  Only last time, Noah posed by the side of the chair, and Nicholas stretched out across Nathan and the other boy in the seat.  (Once again, I'm not saying names for the same reason.)  We had fun at their youth group, and my parents enjoyed the service.  Later we're going to go swimming with them.

One more thing: last night we went over to their house (after dinner at the Ethiopian resteraunt), and we stayed there until about midnight!!!  Then both of us families had to wake up early to go to church.  Haha!!

God bless everyone!!!
