A Full, Fun day!

We started out bright and early (for us!) and were boarded upon The Spirit of the Lowcountry by 9:20am to take it out to Ft. Sumter.  We had a GREAT history lesson on the way out, while we were there, and on the way back!  This picture of us is in front of the flags there at Ft. Sumter.  We had a fantastic view of the USS Yorktown both on the way out and the way back, which was the ship that Tim's father was stationed on for 2 years.  We're hoping to be able to come back someday and do that tour.  After Ft. Sumter we ventured back to the camper, grabbed lunch, and then I took Nicholas & Nicole to the Atlantic Ocean while Tim stayed behind with Nathan & Noah.  The waves weren't anywhere close as high as Anastasia Island and the beach not nearly as pretty, but we still had a fun time baking in the sun.  :-)   We left there and found a Publix (probably our last one we'll see for a couple months!) and "stocked up" as best we could.  (Side note - We've been having a wrestling match between the milk, the water, and the applejuice as to who gets the only spot in the fridge tall enough for it - and Nicole came up with the bright idea of simply removing one of the shelves!!  Woohoo!  So we have all 3 living happily  next to each other now in our fridge.  It's the small things, you know.)  Anyway, I also found a healthfood store nearby and obtained our most coveted and missed posession - Vegannaise!!  Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Nathan took advantage of the climbing wall they have here at the park - over 52 feet high!  Noah discovered the activity center had cable TV, so he watched some Disney shows while Tim & Nathan played ping pong. (after Nathan got back from his climbing around).  We had a nice dinner outside on the picnic table, and then I went to the climbing wall with Nathan to watch him since I had missed that.  He made it to the top in less than 45 seconds!  (Check out his blog and comment if you feel like it - I think he's feeling a little left out).  :-)  On the way back to the camper we saw a bunch of fireflies - something I've really missed seeing since they don't like living in Florida for some reason.  It was awesome!  All in all - a very full, very nice day.

    Tim & Jodie

Tim and Jodie have been married since Nov. 5, 1988.  Tim is a retired Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and retired city of Tampa Firefighter.   Jodie is a happily laid off IBM/AT&T 21 yr veteran employee. So I guess you can say they're both retired, but still super busy!  They have four wonderful children:  triplets Nathan, Nicole, and   Noah born 11/16/97 and Nicholas born 5/16/99.  Nathan is at Trinity College, Noah is at Florida Polytechnic University, and Nicole is at USF.  Nicholas is an EDM (electronic dance music) creator and hoping to make a living from that!  We love and are so proud of our kids!
