Ah, for space heaters!

I kept forgetting to ask the people whose property we're parked at if I could mention their names on our blog, so I had to keep referring to them as our host home.  But I finally remembered and they said yes.  So, our host home, the Perrella's, loaned us their space heater last night and boy did that do the trick!  We were nice and toasty all night!  We had a great Little Church this morning with a common theme running through our time together ... the surrendered life.  It was very cool to see how each passage we shared tied into that theme, and how much we all agreed we wanted to live that surrendered life.  How crazy it is and upside down it seems, but how true it is that you experience such peace and joy when you give your life away to the Lord, and and then He fills it up.  I taught the kids the song, "I Surrender All", and even showed Nicholas how to play it on his guitar that Grandma & Grandpa got him for Christmas.  He loved it!  He's getting to be a good little guitar player.  Last night we had a wonderful time of connecting with the Perrella's in just joining each other - sharing where we are at as couples emotionally and spiritually and relationally.  We have been so blessed over the past 13 years to have them as friends and accountability partners.  It was a sweet time together that I am so grateful for.  Well, we are enjoying our day of rest - I sat in the sun for a little while helping Nicholas with some guitar chords while Nathan & Nicole tossed the softball and Noah went on a little hike with his GPS and Tim napped.  It makes me think of the verse Psalm 16: 6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;  surely I have a delightful inheritance.  Hope everyone else is enjoying their weekend.  Blessings to all!

Now I know where you are and I KNOW how MUCH you are blessed to be there. It truly is a tranquil spot and these friends of 13 years are a TRUE blessing. God is truly your navigator and I know you will KNOW what to do... where to go and when! Hope to see you soon!

    Tim & Jodie

Tim and Jodie have been married since Nov. 5, 1988.  Tim is a retired Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and retired city of Tampa Firefighter.   Jodie is a happily laid off IBM/AT&T 21 yr veteran employee. So I guess you can say they're both retired, but still super busy!  They have four wonderful children:  triplets Nathan, Nicole, and   Noah born 11/16/97 and Nicholas born 5/16/99.  Nathan is at Trinity College, Noah is at Florida Polytechnic University, and Nicole is at USF.  Nicholas is an EDM (electronic dance music) creator and hoping to make a living from that!  We love and are so proud of our kids!
