Anniversary

2/13/2011

Well, it was a year ago February 8th that the Lord spoke to me and then Tim about selling the house and going on the road that year.  If I hear the question "When are you leaving?" one more time I'm gonna....be graceful and say we don't know.  :-)  We're currently in our old neighborhood a few doors down from our old house camped in our friends' back yard.  I'm helping their business in the mornings every week day (not allowing them to pay me) and Tim is working to build up his counseling practice again.  So, by all looks of things we are here indefinitely.  I love Nicole's blog from Friday - it is such a great representation of where we are at.  We still have amazing peace - it doesn't make any sense.  I look at the house we used to own and love and have no desire to be living there right now, and the kids have said the same thing.  Our lives are pretty simple, and evidently, that's exactly how the Lord wants it for us at this time.  We really have had more time to strengthen other believers right here as we have come in contact with more and more people is such relational pain.  So we are doing that while we wait on God's green light to go again.  While there is a slight melancholy to celebrating the year anniversary of God speaking to me about going on the road and the fact that we are not on the road, there is more peace (grace much more abounds).  :-)  Please be praying that we not miss all God has for us in this waiting time.

Just caught up with ya from the days/months since we saw you in DC. Were on my mind and now in my prayers. Best place is always the center of His will and I love how you guys seek that and live there so consistently.

Say, did you and Tim ever consider launching that ministry on your hearts by way of a book or even blog?

Am guessing this blog alone ministers to many.

Lord bless!

The Lord spoke to Abram and told him to move. He stopped in places along the way for different lengths of time. But he was still on the same journey. Enjoy and bloom where God has you today. His ways are not our ways but His ways are always best and on time.

We are blessed you are here.

    Tim & Jodie

Tim and Jodie have been married since Nov. 5, 1988.  Tim is a retired Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and retired city of Tampa Firefighter.   Jodie is a happily laid off IBM/AT&T 21 yr veteran employee. So I guess you can say they're both retired, but still super busy!  They have four wonderful children:  triplets Nathan, Nicole, and   Noah born 11/16/97 and Nicholas born 5/16/99.  Nathan is at Trinity College, Noah is at Florida Polytechnic University, and Nicole is at USF.  Nicholas is an EDM (electronic dance music) creator and hoping to make a living from that!  We love and are so proud of our kids!
