Art & History to the max!

The last 2 days have been major art and history lessons - my head is swimming!  Just in time for us to head off tomorrow for Washington, DC - I'm sure we'll get to rest our brains, there, right?  I mean, most politicians check their brains at the door there, too, don't they?  JUST KIDDING!  And there's no history (Smithsonian) or Science (Smithsonian) or Art (Smithsonian) to be had there at all!  Well, at least tomorrow is a travel day (although those haven't been working out too well since we left).  So, I solicit the prayers of our friends and families for a travel day without any major incidents!  And while you're in the praying mood, please be praying for direction for the ministries God has prepared in advance for us to do (Eph 2:10).   Oh, and one more thing (I know - now I"m getting greedy!).  Our house was supposed to close this past Wednesday but a certain bank  (who shall remain nameless but goes by the initials Bank Of America) has been dragging their feet. (Yes, I meant to spell it out - it's a joke, son, you're s'posed to laugh).   Our power of attorney and the buyers all signed an extension so we can close next week, but the Title Company still doesn't have all they need from BOA to proceed with the closing.  So PLEASE PRAY that BOA will step up to the plate and give the Title company the paperwork they need so we can DO THIS THING!  Thank you so much for your prayers.  I was reflecting tonight on how thankful I am to have prayer warriors out there - it is SO comforting to know!  Blessings to all!

Just out side of DC is a wonderful chruch, Bethel Assembly of God 9001 Vollmerhausen Road

I went there for years while I lived in Maryland.

Jodie, the "buyers K & B" were by yesterday, and got haircuts. They did not give any indication that things were questionable. Sorry for the "bank issue" but God will clear the way soon I am sure. I talked to Him myself.

Greetings Favorite Family,

We're praying for you. We made it up to Winchester, VA today....trekking toward Weld, Maine. Maybe we'll pass each other on the freeway? :)

    Tim & Jodie

Tim and Jodie have been married since Nov. 5, 1988.  Tim is a retired Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and retired city of Tampa Firefighter.   Jodie is a happily laid off IBM/AT&T 21 yr veteran employee. So I guess you can say they're both retired, but still super busy!  They have four wonderful children:  triplets Nathan, Nicole, and   Noah born 11/16/97 and Nicholas born 5/16/99.  Nathan is at Trinity College, Noah is at Florida Polytechnic University, and Nicole is at USF.  Nicholas is an EDM (electronic dance music) creator and hoping to make a living from that!  We love and are so proud of our kids!
