Calling all dentists...

OK - I need all you Tampa/Brandon people who have maybe experienced a complicated dental problem like a cracked tooth and had a dentist amazingly fix it the first time to come out from the woodwork! :-) I am just not feeling good about entrusting myself to a dentist who blew off my concerns about this tooth for a year and a half and never did a very simple bite test to diagnose the cracked tooth. I really like this dentist, but like I said, I just don't feel confident. SOOO...please comment here if you have someone you have gone to or would definitely go to for something like this. I would really appreciate it!
One other thing I wanted to ask is for prayers for my dad. You may remember he was having heart problems a couple of months ago, and they were going to put in a pace maker but then changed their minds. Well, they're going to go ahead and do that this Thursday. I'm going to drive down Wednesday night, stay Thursday, and come back on Friday. SO, prayers for him would be much appreciated!! Those who live the life of a vagabond cannot expect to keep their teeth. Have the leader of your itinerant band yank that chicklet right out of there.

Seriously I have a tooth I need to have refilled and I still have not done anything about it. I appreciate your situation and am inspired to go get my teeth check out in the very near future. Of course I am sure it will be a pretty penny. I hope you get your situation resolved to your satisfaction and soon.

I really like our dentist Dr. Fan in Lakeland. He doesn't try to push any extra procedures. Just fix what is broken. His number is 863-683-4091. We bought a dental insurance online which makes him really inexpensive. A root canal plus crown was about $500 compared to $1900 I was quoted by acouple of "high end" Brandon dentist.

Tim & Jodie

Tim and Jodie have been married since Nov. 5, 1988. Tim is a retired Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and retired city of Tampa Firefighter. Jodie is a happily laid off IBM/AT&T 21 yr veteran employee. So I guess you can say they're both retired, but still super busy! They have four wonderful children: triplets Nathan, Nicole, and Noah born 11/16/97 and Nicholas born 5/16/99. Nathan is at Trinity College, Noah is at Florida Polytechnic University, and Nicole is at USF. Nicholas is an EDM (electronic dance music) creator and hoping to make a living from that! We love and are so proud of our kids!
