Campfire

Finally!  It was dry enough and cool enough to have a lovely campfire!  I just have to tell you about a little God thing that happened.  Our campground has 2 loops with electricity, but the loop we were on had no hot water due work being done on their hot water heater, with no estimated up time.  We were so bummed, we even tried to get into the other loop but they were booked.  So Tim and Nicholas somewhat begrudingly drove to the other loop this morning for showers.  However, as they were leaving the showers, this man drove up with a huge truckload of plywood pieces for firewood!  What a great provision that we would have never known about (because he only dropped off the wood on that loop) had our hot water been working. ( By the way, they fixed our hot water heater some time today!)  Isn't it so true that many times the things in life we think are irritations or worse are really provisions, thank You, Lord!!   Tim cooked a scrumptious dinner over the fire, and then we all enjoyed sitting there watching the fire and then looking up at the numerous stars.  Tim shared a story as he often does at night with the kids, and this one included the analogy of God being a consuming fire from Heb 12:29 & Deut 4:24 and His desire that we be white hot for Him and not lukewarm.  May it ever be so!  We closed with a few songs, and then each of us prayed.  It was a great evening!  Tomorrow we are going into Philadelphia, so we are all looking forward to that.  But for now, enjoy the pictures from our night around the campfire:

I had to add this one other picture from today.  Here Noah is displaying this beautiful white caterpillar with black stripes that was on our picnic table earlier today.  It was absolutely gorgeous, and just reminded me of how creative God is!  I was a little afraid this wonderful speciman might not make it through the day with our boys around, so I gently took him and put him on a branch with strict orders that he was not to be touched.  When I last saw him he was happily (well, as far as I could tell he looked happy) inching his way along the branch.  Very cool!

    Tim & Jodie

Tim and Jodie have been married since Nov. 5, 1988.  Tim is a retired Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and retired city of Tampa Firefighter.   Jodie is a happily laid off IBM/AT&T 21 yr veteran employee. So I guess you can say they're both retired, but still super busy!  They have four wonderful children:  triplets Nathan, Nicole, and   Noah born 11/16/97 and Nicholas born 5/16/99.  Nathan is at Trinity College, Noah is at Florida Polytechnic University, and Nicole is at USF.  Nicholas is an EDM (electronic dance music) creator and hoping to make a living from that!  We love and are so proud of our kids!
