OK - I've learned my first important lesson - advice I would give anyone endeavoring to do what we are doing.  Make your first stop at least a week to get your bearings!!!  We still have a lot of organizing to do, but we had to make the choice of either doing that or experiencing the area we were visiting, so we chose the latter.  We went to the Fort and received a great history lesson there!  We also had the pleasure of swimming in the ocean, and Nicole and I had our quiet times this morning at sunrise on the beach.  Very cool!  We ran into another believer there as we were leaving, so we held hands and prayed together right there on the beach.  Isn't God good?  As Nicole said, a divine appointment for sure.  We're looking forward to whatever the Lord leads at our next stop.

It looks like you are off to a great start! I bet you adjust to the rhythm of the nomadic life in no time!

Following your blog after finding it through some research of our own. We're planning to do this same thing, next year. We are so excited - so we'll simply live vicariously through your family until then. (And learn what TO do, and what NOT to do from your experiences)
Praying for your family as the Lord leads you on this Journey!

In His Love!

Boy is it GREAT hearing your tale. I look forward to checking in daily sometimes 2-3 times a day because there is nothing new. Today I woke to your adventure on the beach at "sunrise"! It is certainly going to be an exciting adventure for ALL of you! I have decided that a BOOL needs to be written and I know who can write it... Nicole!!Jodie you can co-author with the help of ALL the BOYS. I KNOW it would sell. I would even buy one! Thanks for including all of us on your adventure. Bless you, Karol

I am so happy to see you are doing well, I was afraid Tim was so tired he would not make passed Orlando. Keep the pictures coming, and God's good news on the move.

God's blessings on you all.

After reading Nicole's post I now want to see proof of the messy morning hair. I find it hard to believe you really went out like that........I mean really, what is the world coming to?

    Tim & Jodie

Tim and Jodie have been married since Nov. 5, 1988.  Tim is a retired Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and retired city of Tampa Firefighter.   Jodie is a happily laid off IBM/AT&T 21 yr veteran employee. So I guess you can say they're both retired, but still super busy!  They have four wonderful children:  triplets Nathan, Nicole, and   Noah born 11/16/97 and Nicholas born 5/16/99.  Nathan is at Trinity College, Noah is at Florida Polytechnic University, and Nicole is at USF.  Nicholas is an EDM (electronic dance music) creator and hoping to make a living from that!  We love and are so proud of our kids!
