It has rained SO much since we've been in Pennsylvania. Yesterday, it rained all day and today it was supposed to clear by noon, but at 3pm it was still going strong and still in the lower 50's! Brrr. That's when I kind of snapped. I stepped outside the camper for the first time since Sunday, stood under the awning, and called my parents telling them I wanted to come home! My dad proceeded to tell me how beautiful the weather is right now in Florida - their house was wide open with a gentle breeze swaying the palm trees. Ha Ha! Thanks a lump! :-) We were actually laughing together at how crazy this whole thing seems. And we're still headed further north tomorrow. What were we thinking? Actually, I think I can handle the cold weather - it's this not seeing the sun for days issue - how do these people do it? We finally got out around 4pm to do some errands and actually saw the sun come out twice, and I felt much better! :-) I guess it was just a mild case of cabin fever. I think I'm OK now. When we got back from errands, Tim started a fire and the kids were able to roast hot dogs, so that was nice. And when we all said prayers tonight we were definitely thankful for warm and dry beds to sleep on tonight! It's all in the perspective - I could rue the fact it has been rainy and cold, or be thankful I have a warm dry place to live. I'm choosing to be thankful for a warm, dry place!
