LP problems....

This time it has nothing to do with running out of LP.  Now it appears our regulator isn't working.   Saying that makes me think of Marvin Martian saying in his computer voice:  Our LP regulator is not working.  I wonder if that is why we haven't been getting correct readings on our LP level for awhile - maybe it's been in the process of breaking down and now it is just another level of break down.  What it means is that when our heater kicks on, the engaging of the LP to actually give us heat doesn't happen.  I don't understand all the logistics behind this, but our work around is this:  We turn on a burner on the stove, turn the heater on, and then we have heat!  (And then we turn the burner off).  As you can imagine, this is not the most ideal thing, especially if you need heat in the middle of the night, which is basically the only time we need heat.  So last night I did the turning the burner on and then the heater thing right before I went to bed, and then Tim did it some time in the middle of the night, and then he did it again at about 6am.  Yeehaw!  Thank God we're in Florida!!  Bummer that this happened on a weekend so we'll have to wait until Monday to get it addressed.  But it's been the way of our LP problems - it seems they always happen on the weekends just to add some flavor to our lives!  :-)

On a brighter note, we had a wonderful time with the Marriage 911 team and our friends from the east coast who came over to do the training this morning.  They are precious marriage missionaries who have such hearts for the Lord and for serving marriages - love them!  Their testimony is amazing - divorced with zero contact for 11 years, God reconciled them 9 years ago and they have been marriage missionaries for the past 3 years.  The Marriage 911 ministry at our church is going to start up in just a couple of weeks, and it is an awesome ministry to hurting marriages.  If you know any couples  in the Brandon, FL area who are in crisis, maybe on the brink of divorce or are already separated or even divorced, this ministry is for them.  They can sign up by going to the following website and selecting Marriage 911 from the list of events:
http://www.crossingonline.org/news.  Even if only 1 person wants to work on the marriage, that 1 person can sign up and come.  Please be praying for marriages to be healed and restored.   Again, thank you for your prayers for us while we are in 'Wait mode'.  Blessings to all!

    Tim & Jodie

Tim and Jodie have been married since Nov. 5, 1988.  Tim is a retired Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and retired city of Tampa Firefighter.   Jodie is a happily laid off IBM/AT&T 21 yr veteran employee. So I guess you can say they're both retired, but still super busy!  They have four wonderful children:  triplets Nathan, Nicole, and   Noah born 11/16/97 and Nicholas born 5/16/99.  Nathan is at Trinity College, Noah is at Florida Polytechnic University, and Nicole is at USF.  Nicholas is an EDM (electronic dance music) creator and hoping to make a living from that!  We love and are so proud of our kids!
