On to Boston!

Since we arrived at Walmart so late last night (around midnight) we all slept in until about 10am this morning.  Tim took a serious inventory of our pantry & refrigerator and then ventured in with Nicholas & Nicole to re-stock our depleted resources.  :-)  Long story short, we finally made it out of there around 1:30pm!  It was a beautiful drive through Connecticut and Rhode Island, and on into Massachussettes.  The leaves have started turning bright colors, and the view of various harbors off of I-95 were pristine.  Our campground is only 30 minutes outside of Boston, so I'm guessing we'll take a day of rest tomorrow and then venture in on Monday.  I have to say, I am quite confused on what to do regarding going into the city.  Do we take the T or drive ourselves?  It was kind of a no-brainer in DC - driving was no problem at all.  NY was another no-brainer...take the subway!  But Boston seems like it could go either way.  The thing that is swaying me to consider the T is that it looks like Nicholas will be free and the triplets will only cost about 1/2 of a regular fare.  But I'm not sure if I'm reading the MBTA website correctly.  Any experienced Bostonians out there who want to offer some advice, it would be greatly appreciated!
I started uploading pictures to this post, but some error occurred and I had to start all over.  So hopefully tomorrow I'll post the promised pictures!

How long will you be there? The T has 3 day unlimited passes that are a really good deal, and it really can get you all over. I generally take it when I am in town. Driving in Boston is a special skill and talent that is typically only acquired after being there for a long time -- so I say go for the T.

Taking the T is great advice. it'll get you everywhere.

Be SURE to walk the Freedom trail in town. You can get maps just about anywhere and it takes you all over Boston--tons of places of interest. Great places to eat in Little Italy, great seafood, Faneuil Hall, the Old North Church, Old Ironsides, Bunker Hill.

Boston Georgia, I could help with or even Boston Tennessee but I have been in Boston MA. only once. It does sound like the majority in the know, say the T. So I vote for the T as well.

By the way the new neighbors had the floor resurfaced and it is beautiful. They are very pleased. Fence not complete so poor puppies have to be tied by the back fence.

Robin tore down the 2 walls that created our front living room and the guy is coming Monday to put in the wood floors and finish the room.

How many Walmarts have you visited? If you keep a record of all the cities you visit and go to Walmart; when you are finished with the adventure, Walmart may use you in a comercial. $$$$$

Always know you are in our prayers, even though you don't know who "anonymous" is.

By the way please keep Robin's father in your prayers, as he not not doing well.

    Tim & Jodie

Tim and Jodie have been married since Nov. 5, 1988.  Tim is a retired Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and retired city of Tampa Firefighter.   Jodie is a happily laid off IBM/AT&T 21 yr veteran employee. So I guess you can say they're both retired, but still super busy!  They have four wonderful children:  triplets Nathan, Nicole, and   Noah born 11/16/97 and Nicholas born 5/16/99.  Nathan is at Trinity College, Noah is at Florida Polytechnic University, and Nicole is at USF.  Nicholas is an EDM (electronic dance music) creator and hoping to make a living from that!  We love and are so proud of our kids!
