I still feel like I have quite a ways to go in my recovery so I wasn't sure how things were going to go this week, but we had planned on taking the kids to the Passion Conference in Atlanta and I certainly didn't want to miss it! The conference is for 18-25 year olds, so we weren't attending, but we wanted to be a part of providing for them. So we rented a van and an AirBnB and and drove up to Atlanta on the 30th. On the 31st we visited the Georgia Aquarium where I struggled to keep up. But then Tim got the bright idea to get me a wheel chair and I was good to go from then on! Noah didn't want to go so we were able to bring Nicole's good friend, Abby, with us and she fit right in! The kids went to the conference that night and then all day on the 1st and for the morning of the 2nd, and then we came home on the 3rd. Tim and I were able to meet some friends for dinner on the 1st (while the kids were at the conference) at this great little restaurant called The Salt Factory in Alpharetta, GA. We ended up staying 3 hours catching up and reconnecting - it was really nice. Overall, I did a lot better than I expected. I didn't take as many pictures as I normally do, but here is what I took:
