![]() We had such a nice morning of rest - I didn't even get dressed until noon! We found a great Christian TV station out of Jacksonville, so the kids watched some of that while Tim and I took on little projects inside and outside of the camper. We had a late lunch, did a little laundry, and then hit the beach around 4:30pm. Anastasia is right on the Atlantic, so we just reveled in the sugar sand and amazing waves (I wonder if the hurricanes have anything to do with those?). :-) Tim and the kids jumped the waves as they came in, while I sat in my beach chair and pulled up the Chris Tomlin song, "Indescribable" on Tim's phone and just worshiped God! We came back for showers and then a late dinner, and someone mentioned tonight was 1st Wednesday service at our church. We sadly realized it was too late to pull it up on the computer (it was almost 9pm), but then Nicole suggested we celebrate communion ourselves. We had all the ingredients (see photo) - bread, sparkling grape juice, and thankful hearts ready to 'do this in remembrance of him'. Tim opened in prayer recounting a passage from our life journal reading a few days ago out of Rev 3 about Jesus stating he stands at the door and knocks and if anyone hears his voice and opens the door, he will come in and fellowship with him. After that prayer, while Nathan was looking up one of the passages on communion in Mat 27 per Tim's instruction, Noah leaned over to me to say he always thought of the phrase, "my heart was pounding" when referring to being afraid, as Jesus pounding on our heart for us to trust in Him. Pretty profound, eh? May all our hearts pound in trust of Jesus!

I found your blog by way of another blog and since I live in FL, it caught my attention. After reading about Anastasia State Park, I realized my husband and I saw 2 of your children while they were riding their bikes. We were there 8/31 -Tues. night through Thursday 9/2. I remember them because they give a very cheerful and friendly "hello" as they passed us.
