OK - now I can say it - it was mentioned a few times in this blog, but we didn't feel a freedom to flat out express this for security reasons but we just got back at 8:00pm tonight (it is almost 10pm now) from an 11 day trip to Switzerland. What an amazing time! Tim and I were invited over there on an expenses paid trip for Tim to lead a retreat with people from several different countries. It was SUCH a blessing to be with about 50 people from different nationalities and walks of life and experience the Word and Worship together. Plus the scenery ain't too bad over there either. :-) It was very incredible! We are so indebted to friends and family who helped take care of the kids while we were gone - they did a great job! I'm SO tired (it's almost 4am over there, which means we've been up for almost 24 hours!) but I just had to share the good news. I'll post some pictures soon!

I think it's a great idea. My family and I fdid an eight week x country trip in 2005. That had been my third time driving around the country. I'm sure you've invested in your Golden Access National Park pass. Maybe they've changed the name, but it's a must have. If you have any questions about places to visit/avoid just ask. I'll be driving across again to visit the places I've missed because there is just so much to see. I invested in a "steering wheel lock" which attaches from the brake pedal to the steering wheel for extra security when we were all away from the RV. All the best and happy motoring.
