Unseasonably warm - again

I ordered my charger from ebay on Thursday and received it yesterday!  So I’m back online on my computer.  Yippee!  Yesterday was another ‘unseasonably warm’ day, thank You Lord!  It got up to like 73 degrees.  We met up with Tim’s sister and husband, and went and visited gravesites.  First, their dad’s gravesite, then their uncle Pete’s, then his niece and sister-in-law who died in a car crash about 10 years ago, and finally their mom’s.  I never met Tim’s dad, but this is the first time I’ve been here to this area without being able to see Uncle Pete, so that was sad.  This was a good reminder of the brevity of life – I kept thinking of a short poem I’ve heard before – I may be butchering it but it goes something like this:  Only one life and soon it will be past, only what’s done for Christ will last.  I’m not sure exactly what the kids were thinking while we were doing this, but I’m looking forward to talking to them about it.  I know they were very interested in finding the oldest person buried at the graveyards we visited.  We found a few from the 1700’s!  We then went up to Devue park and tried to take a picture with Nicole’s camera at the lookby setting the timer, but the camera dropped and it hasn’t been working since.  She had been saving up for like a year to get the camera, and the receipt says it must be returned in 30 days and it is the 33rd day since she bought it, and the warrantee says it only covers defective problems and not damage.  So we are praying that Walmart will take it back anyway (even though it is the 33rd day and even though it was dropped).  Those are big IF’s in my mind.  Anyway, we have 1 picture of the boys and me at Devue Park that I’ll post below, and also a picture of Tim and his sister at their dad’s gravesite.  Hope everyone is gearing up for a very Happy Thanksgiving!

So glad you can be with family on this day of Thanksgiving. You are so blessed to have such good and close friends and family. I know it is one of the things for which you give thanks.

Of the things in life God provides, friends and family are the best, after his LOVE.

I am going to email you regarding a package you received.

Our prayers and God's blessings be with you.

    Tim & Jodie

Tim and Jodie have been married since Nov. 5, 1988.  Tim is a retired Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and retired city of Tampa Firefighter.   Jodie is a happily laid off IBM/AT&T 21 yr veteran employee. So I guess you can say they're both retired, but still super busy!  They have four wonderful children:  triplets Nathan, Nicole, and   Noah born 11/16/97 and Nicholas born 5/16/99.  Nathan is at Trinity College, Noah is at Florida Polytechnic University, and Nicole is at USF.  Nicholas is an EDM (electronic dance music) creator and hoping to make a living from that!  We love and are so proud of our kids!
