I don't know what you call it, but we play a game with the kids where we guide them to a item they are looking for by saying "warmer, warmer" the closer they get until it comes in sight and they squeal in delight. I think God is playing that game with us! He keeps prompting us that we are moving in the right direction through a myriad of means. The word "some" in I Cor. 9:22 (which curiously was part of my bible reading today as well as my life verse) took on new meaning as I reflected on the fact that God is calling our whole family not to minister to everyone, but to 'some' ones. A friend prayed this morning for us that we would enjoy the delight of finding new ways to offer care to families. I don't know if I'm ready to start squealing in delight yet, but we are amazed at how easily we've adapted to our close quarters in the RV as we travel. Our kids are real troopers! Jodie has created such a sense of anticipation about the itinerary that I can't wait to see what's next. I really appreciate her giftedness when it comes to details. I'm really anticipating Thanksgiving because of how grateful we are for this family trip together. Thank you so much for those of you who read this blog and pray with us. We are certainly blessed to be the recipients of so many answered prayers for us. We look forward to seeing many of you in the weeks to come.
